When we were MBA students, we read the omnipresent Marketing text book
authored by Kotler. Right in the beginning of the book, Kotler screamed out that
it was no longer enough to build a better mousetrap. This was in reference to
the old business saying, "build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a
path to your door". Kotler talked about how a superior product is no longer
adequate and there are 4 Ps that marketing professionals need to be careful
about.
Without debating with Kotler, we must say that Peak Seekers has largely been
established on a principle that challenges Kotler's belief. Being in the field
of education, we believe that if we do everything we can to enhance the
educational experience of our students, we will come out shining bright. In some
ways, our philosophy could be described as, "build a much much better mousetrap,
and the world will beat a path to your door".
Naturally, defining a "much much better" entrance exam course is not easy.
Being a younger player than many others, we began by ensuring that our students
get at least all the features that students of other institutes get. Then, we
